Eels look likely to drop Tahu
Australian dual international, Timana Tahu, who played for New Zealand Maori against England in October, looks likely to be dropped by the National Rugby League club, Paramatta Eels.
Tahu has been absent from training for two weeks and had hoped for permission to remain away until February while he deals with personal issues, the Cooma Monaro Express reported today.
The Eels have been sympathetic in their dealings with Tahu but are compelled to move on, the report said.
Tahu, who returned from union to league this year, had agreed to terms on a deal believed to be worth $300,000 with Parramatta for next year.
